Illustrating the Spirit of Perini Ranch: A Collaboration with Rob Wilson
At Perini Ranch Steakhouse, we have spent more than four decades sharing the traditions, flavors, and stories of ranch life in West Texas. Located in historic Buffalo Gap, Texas, Perini Ranch Steakhouse has become known across America for authentic Texas hospitality, mesquite-grilled steaks, cowboy cooking, and a genuine ranch-to-table experience. We are always looking for meaningful ways to celebrate the heritage and culture that make this place special.
That is why we were honored to collaborate with New York City illustrator and artist Rob Wilson, whose distinctive artwork beautifully captures the spirit of Perini Ranch Steakhouse, Buffalo Gap, and the Texas ranching lifestyle.
Known for his detailed, nostalgic illustrations, Rob created a series of original designs inspired by the landscapes, traditions, people (and even the critters) of West Texas. His artwork reflects the beauty of working ranches, Texas cattle country, small-town life, and the iconic setting of Perini Ranch Steakhouse. Through his unique artistic perspective, Rob has helped tell the story of a place that has welcomed guests from all 50 states and around the world.
The collaboration began with a custom-designed wild rag featuring Rob's original artwork, celebrating the enduring traditions of ranch life and the rich history of Buffalo Gap. Since then, his illustrations have become an important part of the Perini Ranch brand and can now be found throughout many of our newest projects, including cookbooks, stickers, T-shirts, and other merchandise inspired by the Texas ranch lifestyle.
As longtime admirers of Rob's work, we are proud to continue this collaboration and incorporate his artwork into the storytelling that surrounds Perini Ranch. His illustrations help preserve and celebrate the heritage of West Texas ranching while introducing new audiences to the people, places, and traditions that make Buffalo Gap and Perini Ranch Steakhouse a destination unlike any other.
