Our partnership with Fess Parker Winery is rooted in the lifelong friendship between Tom Perini and the late Fess Parker, two men who shared a deep appreciation for hospitality, family, and bringing people together around the table. As co-founders of the Buffalo Gap Wine & Food Summit, they helped create a celebration of food, wine, and Texas hospitality that continues to this day. That friendship lives on through our close relationship with Ashley Parker Snider and the Parker family, whose commitment to authenticity, stewardship, and exceptional winemaking reflects the same values that first brought our families together. Perini Ranch Steakhouse is proud to have forged a friendship in cast-iron with Smithey Ironware. Tom’s roots as a chuckwagon cook and avid cast-iron collector drew him to the high-quality, legacy ironware produced by Smithey. In November of 2024, Perini Ranch celebrated the history and future of cast-iron with Smithey at a two-day event filled with outstanding food, education and celebration of the longevity, reliability and craftsmanship of cast-iron cookware. The Country Market is proud to retail a wide selection of Smithey products in store and online.
